JUST TO SAY MY DAUGHTER ALICE WILL BE GIVING A REFRESHER COURSE ON C.P.R. CORONARY PULMONARY RESUSCITATION AT OUR HOUSE WHICH IS ‘BROOKFIELD HOUSE’ 4 BROOKFIELD DRIVE, TEIGNMOUTH TQ14 8QQ ON WEDNESDAY EVENING AT 7.00 PM. 2ND JUNE. COME AND JOIN US AND HAVE CAKE AND TEA. THE HOUSE IS PART OF ‘OPEN STUDIOS’, TEIGNBRIDGE 6 DAYS OF ART AND SO A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO SEE SOME ORIGINAL ART AS WELL AS FRESHENING UP ON THAT ALL IMPORTANT LIFE SAVING FIRST AID TECHNIQUE. ALICE IS A RUNNER TOO AND TEACHES FIRST AID FOR THE RED CROSS. A SMALL DONATION TOWARDS EPILEPTIC ACTION WOULD BE APPRECIATED. To Aadila and Sarah, Good luck this weekend at this years Race For Life, hope the weather is kind and you raise plenty too.
Also to those of you running at Ivybridge 10km on Saturday evening and to Nicky running up north(!!)

We have been offered a first aid refresher evening during the half term week ,Wednesday 4th June, Please let me know if you are interested in coming along to it.

Next social event for the daytime group is on June 10th, meeting at 12 at the Mount Pleasant.
Groups are on every Tuesday and Thursdays, morning and evening.

The daytime group have organised an evening out at the Elizabethan at Ideford this coming week, table has been booked, so all we have to do is get along there and have a great time.
A lunchtime meal has also been arranged on the following Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant at Midday.
I do hope the evening group will have a night out soon, if not before Christmas, then in the New Year.Getting them organised isn't an easy thing to do !!!!! Anyone wanting to take on the task please let me know.

It's been great to see some old and new faces at the evening group, Julie and Mandy have rejoined us and we welcomed Linzi to the group.
One or two!!!! of the group tonight were excited and nervous about this weekend,(when they go to London to run their first half marathon) not that it showed too much.!! Arrangements from meeting up for the train journey to what to pack (including the hair straighteners????!!!!!!) were all discussed ,Hopefully the weather will be kind to the runners and be dry but overcast.
So, by this time next week it will all be over, and they will all have a medal to be proud of.
For the rest of the group well done on your efforts on those hill reps,and see you all on Tuesday.
