For anyone interested in an Autumn marathon, Abingdon fits right in there. On a relatively flat course two laps run alongside the river Thames this should be a good one to do,with an entry of 1100 a small field but from past experience a really friendly one to do.
So if you have a real desire to run a marathon then on line entries are now open via the Runners World site.£36.00 entry but that is about the norm for this type of event.
